Modern Sensors,Physics Designs and Electrical Energy Systems

Handbook of Modern Sensors, Physics Designs and Applications

This book is about devices commonly called sensors. The invention of a microprocessor has brought highly sophisticated instruments into our everyday lives. Numerous computerized appliances, of which microprocessors are integral parts, wash clothes and prepare coffee, play music, guard homes, and control room temperature. Microprocessors are digital devices that manipulate binary codes generally represented by electric signals. Sensors are interface devices between various physical values and electronic circuits who “understand” only a language of moving electrical charges. In other words, sensors are the eyes, ears, and noses of silicon chips. Sensors have become part of everyone’s
life.

Electric_Machinery_Fundamentals and Power_Systems

Electric_Machinery_Fundamentals.rar

This book sets an Excellent Standard in the books on electric machines. The author has the rare ability to strike a golden balance between theory and practice, and between rigour and informality, such that the theoretical actually illuminates the practical. The discussion on power transformers is best and he maintains that same high quality throughout the book. He has even managed to correct a subtle misconception that I had held for several years concerning Lenz's law. Mr. Chapman, the author of this book had the good judgment to use log or semilog scales, or else we are going to have a book that is hundreds of miles long and wide.
